If you would like The LARP Network to include a link to your LARP or LARP related site in our Links section, please post it here! If there is a short (1 line) description to accompany the link, include that as well.
Also, if you have found dead links, please let us know!
Wait, can we just go crazy with the cheesewhiz here? Cause, I have a literal library I've been assembling lately in preparation. I've got costume houses, makeup kits, LARPs. Shall I just send you my bookmark page? ;-)
Somewhat dissatisfied with the listings on Shade's Larp List (many broken links, and no geographic info for larp locations), I set upon making this larp map last year. Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to finish, so it's probably on its way to being out of date. However, here's the Holodets Larp Map. It started as a way of locating all larps within driving distance of my house, but then was to encompass the entire country. Partly finished (I went state by state, so that all states which have listings have all the listings completed for that state, more or less accurate up to a year ago).
I'd be happy to hand this over to either this group (I tried giving it to Shade's, but there was no response) if someone will take it over and actually use it and update it.
Wow, that's really cool. I wonder if there is a way to integrate that map right onto one of our pages. Hmmm. I will definitely investigate this because I think it would be really handy tool to have. :)
The main question I have is are we doing ALL larps? Because I know there a good unmber out there who don't have web pages yet, if for only because they have nobody who knows how to make a web page.
Also in some cities there are several chapters of the same group. Are we going to list them all? Example is in Phoenix AZ there are no less then 4 active offical Amtgard chapters and 2 or 3 not so official.
